Returns & Exchange Policy
1. CANCELLATION POLICY
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase or before dispatching the parcel, whichever is earlier.
- No cancellations will be accepted after 24 hours of placing the order.
- Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests will not be entertained.
2. EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY
At Zarika, each piece is handcrafted with care and goes through a thorough quality check before dispatch.
However, if you are dissatisfied with your order, please read the following terms carefully:
2.1 General Policy
- As a company policy, we do not offer refunds or returns on any product once sold.
- An exchange is possible only for size issues or if you wish to replace your purchase with another product of equal or higher value.
- Exchange requests must be raised within 2 days of delivery by contacting us via email at zarika.threadsoflucknow@gmail.com or WhatsApp at +91 8310851302.
2.2 Eligibility for Exchange
To be eligible for an exchange, please ensure that:
- The product is unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in original condition.
- All tags, labels, and packaging are intact.
- The product must be sent back to us only after receiving confirmation from our team.
We do not provide pickup service by default.
Customers must send back the parcel to our return address using a reputed courier service.
Note: Zarika shall not be liable for any parcel lost in transit during self-shipment.
Exchange is allowed once per order.
2.3 Exchange Shipping Charges
- We will dispatch the replacement item only after receiving the original product.
- If you request a pickup service, an additional ₹200 per item will be charged (subject to service availability at your location).
- If the pickup facility is unavailable, the customer must self-ship the product to our address.
- Zarika will not be responsible if pickup service is unavailable in your area.
3. DAMAGED / WRONG PRODUCTS
We take great care to ensure accurate orders and quality packaging.
However, in the rare event that you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please follow these steps:
3.1 Mandatory Opening Video
- You must record a clear, uncut opening video of the parcel as proof.
- The video must:
- Show the unopened parcel (before cutting or opening).
- Be continuous and unedited until the product is fully revealed.
- Show all sides of the parcel and no additional tape added by you.
- Without an opening video, no claims for damage or wrong product will be accepted.
3.2 Reporting Damaged or Wrong Products
- Contact us within 2 days of delivery with your order number and the opening video.
- Reach us via WhatsApp at +91 8310851302 or email at zarika.threadsoflucknow@gmail.com.
- We will review the evidence and, if eligible, arrange a pickup through our courier partner (where available).
- If pickup is unavailable, you will need to self-ship the product.
- Refundable amount (in case of a damaged or wrong product):
Order Amount + Shipping Cost (up to ₹100) if you self-ship. - Refunds will be processed within 24–48 hours of receiving the returned product via UPI or Bank Transfer.
- No return fee will be charged for damaged or wrong items verified via video.
4. ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE AS DAMAGED OR FOR RETURN
We do not consider the following issues as “damaged” or “defective”:
- If the outfit does not suit you or you simply do not like the product.
- Minor fabric texture variations (since handmade fabrics may differ slightly in finish).
- Minor tassel pulls or embroidery irregularities, as these are natural characteristics of handcrafted Chikankari work.
- Slight color differences (10–12%) due to screen resolution, lighting, or photography.
- Size variation of ±5%, which is acceptable in handcrafted garments.
5. NON-RETURNABLE / NON-EXCHANGEABLE ITEMS
Certain categories are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom-stitched or altered garments
- Sale or discounted items
- Accessories and dupattas sold separately
